Who is Jesus?

The identity of Jesus is crucial to all mankind. For everyone was created to be in relationship with Him and be made alive.

Who is He?

"For He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation." Colossians 1:15

Gossip must have exploded at the arrival of Jesus. A man comes to town proclaiming to be the Son of God. The religious argue and speculate, while the sinners rejoice. Here is this man - healing the sick, dining with tax collectors, and calming storms. It is His name that continues to be the talk throughout all time.

We can talk about who Jesus is all day. But who do you say He is?

"For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost."
Luke 19:10

Jesus proved to be much more than a good guy. He taught and exemplified what it meant to be human. All authority of heaven and earth was given to Him. He lived a sinless life. He spent time with people whom others hated. He healed the worst of diseases. He cast out demons. He is all-powerful, all-knowing, all-good.

Death had no power on Jesus. The Son of God had to meet death on a tree. To bear the weight of all mankind. Where we fell short, Jesus perfected.

The grave was not strong enough. In three days He rose again to life and lives today. Jesus' resurrection is an open door. A gateway to heaven and life with our Heavenly Father. Not just in heaven but here now.

Our only question after reading about the life of Jesus is: "How do I get saved?"

Simply put: belief.
"Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved" Acts 16:30

Do you believe in the life of Jesus? Do you believe in the miracles? Do you believe in the crucifixion? And the resurrection? Jesus is the way, the truth, the life. If we are to come to the Father we are to call upon His Son.

"I came that they may have life and have it abundantly."
John 10:10
