Keep-Calm-and-Embrace-Your-Awkwardness.jpg
Brandon Zieske, our interim lead pastor at Pleasant Valley, has said a statement that has stuck with me for years now:
“The Holy Spirit only and always leads to life for you and others."
What a promise. That’s His character - leading me and others to life only and always.
Remember that as long as you operate in love, there is no failure in the Kingdom of God.
  1. Because...“The Holy Spirit only and always leads to life for you and others."
  2. Because you are always planting or watering seeds. God does the growth.
As we phase out of our “Take a Risk” series, my heart yearns to see our community continue in lifestyles of taking love-inspired risks.

We have to die to ourselves daily counting ourselves as nothing (1 Corinthians 3:4-9). We have to know that what God wants is far better than what we want, believe what God knows is best is far better than what we think is best, and trust that what God thinks is a success is far better than what we define as a success.

Do you want to see people encounter the hope of the world? You have that hope. This is not an empty encouragement. This is a simple, practical, yet Earth-shaking call: embrace the awkwardness.
